Spoiled Beef: The Walking Dead 4×2 “Infected”

Season Four, Episode Two, “Infected,” is one of only two episodes that has had the rare distinction of leaving me with a lasting feeling long after it ended. (The other episode is “Bloodletting”; Carl’s painful operation sunk in pretty deep.) This week’s show’s intention is to illustrate the cyclical nature of life, but The Lion King this is not. This interpretation of death and renewal is as vile as TV gets. For what it accomplishes, It’s honestly one of the finest episodes to date and is a solid example of television as a once again thriving means of storytelling.

Today, my chores included doing the laundry, cleaning my room and getting a lunch ready for work tomorrow (turkey avocado in case you’re wondering.)
